The Real Thanksgiving

These are some arrow heads and pottery fragments that we found.

Jonathan and his cousin Lindy diggin in the electric barbie jeep.

Jayce , Cade and Uncle Ty jumping off the sand dunes.

Jayce and Uncle Ty seeing who could jump the furthest down the hill with Cade close behind.

Tia and JT at the sand dunes in Page, Az. We stopped to get some wiggles out play in the red sand. We collected some rocks, explored some of the canyons and looked for lizards. Mom and Joshua are parked in the little white car on the right.
The uphill climb to the fun zone. These dunes are about 25 miles outside of Page AZ right before you go through the big split in the rock with the view of the Colorado River valley. It is on the 89 going south towards Flagstaff.
Jonathan's long climb was worth it. And still in his army PJs.
This is Uncle Chad digging out his beautiful $500 4X4 Bronco. It rained the night before so we had fun on the hard packed sand until we tried to climb this hill and slid off the side. Delta Sand dunes the Friday after Thanksgiving.
We had four wheelers and dirt bikes too.

It took us about 30 minutes of digging to decide we needed to get pulled out by the other truck.

Tia and Mom getting crazy on the ATV.

The cousins getting warm after the fun.

Tia the carnivore. Ham and Turkey with cream soda. Yuuuummmm.

Jonathan the vegan. Carrots, cashews, crackers and a roll.

Aunt Kelly's backyard was full of adventure with horses, trampolines, dollhouses and of course big orange air guns. Jonathan and Cheyenne in make believe land.

Porter Rockwell's cabin now in the Eureka mining town. Built in 1865 in Tooele.

JT the pioneer. Maybe we will grow his hair out like Porter.

Jt the train lover in Eureka.

Tia and Shaylie with their new friends at Grandma's house. They named them midnight and rejoice. Notice the strings for leashes. They made some custom beds out of cardboard packed with soft blankets.
