It finally cooled off enough for us to enjoy our backyard tonight. We loved General Conference this week-end and rewarded the kids for being as good as they could be for two straight days by having some hot chocolate and a fire. We built a fire in our broken down chiminea that has served us well over the years and looked at the stars and the crescent moon. We had some leftover pine wood from Mt. Lemmon and some branches from our own trees to build a nice fire.
Tia made our hot chocolate and Jonathan set up the chairs while dad built the fire.
Jonathan came up to me with a serious look on his face today and said:
" Dad we need to talk."
He climbed on my lap and I said , Ok.
Grabbing his first finger he said:
" We need to go to the park and go down the slide first."
He grabbed his next finger and said:
"Then we need to go to nursery and not to the forest and then get some chocolate milk."
I agreed. "
Little man Joshua catching some ZZZZs on Dad.
Conference is over.
Free at last. Tia watched all 8 hours of General Conference and was a very good helper to her mom with Joshua and keeping JT from driving everyone crazy. She has been a blessing in our home and our baby girl is growing up fast and getting taller!

I forget how hot it still is there, it's definitely fall here. I can't believe how big the kids are getting. Hot chocolate looks fun!
