Self Portrait by Jonathan

Jonathan has been asking to take pictures with my work camera lately and we have often said "no" to keep it from getting ruined. He seemed to have found it all alone today and this is what I discovered when I turned it on. Jonathan's self portraits. Enjoy.

Our citrus trees attract these large black and yellow butterflies every year and Tia finally caught one today. They lay their eggs on the new bright green leaves that sprout in the spring and fall. The caterpillars then feed on the new leaves and we sometimes can find 20 of them on the trees. At Grandpa McGrevy's funeral a blue and black butterfly showed up and flew into the tomb while they were lowering his casket into the ground. It later reappeared and flew around the foot of his casket until it was completely lowered and then flew off. Grandpa majored in Botany at BYU Hawaii and had an extensive butterfly collection that he donated years ago.
She decided to put tinfoil on top with holes in it so it could breathe. I remember doing that as a kid with the big red ants we would catch.
The butterfly whisperer decided to let this one go and watched it lay an egg after so she felt like she did the right thing. I guess the butterfly interests have passed down to her from Grandpa.

Jonathan and Blaine had a sleep over while Julie and Marv went to the hospital to have their new baby. We thought it would be a good time to teach them about their new arrivals and how to hold them.
They were holding the babies nicely until they decided to crash their heads together.
Blaine was poking his baby's eyes out and Jonathan thought that his baby was boring.

Did Jonathon really take those pictures... or, was it you??? He's a pretty smart kid if he did. He took some good shots too!
